Annual Meeting 2020

The annual meeting goes virtual this year.  Please contact the Church Office for more information.

You should have received an abbreviated Annual Meeting packet in the mail

That packet contains the minutes from the last Annual Meeting in 2019, a report from Pastor Travis, a report from the Council, a report from the COVID-19 Taskforce, a report from the Nominating Committee, and the proposed 2021 budget.

How Will We Vote?

If you have an e-mail address on file with the church, you will receive an electronic ballot for you to fill out.  If you do not have an e-mail, you will receive a paper ballot in the mail and you are asked to complete it and return it in the provided envelope by November 30th.

We are using a third party election system which ensures a secret ballot per our constitution.  If you vote electronically, your e-mail address is not attached to your vote in any way.

How Do I Zoom?

Below, you’ll find instructions on how to download, install, and briefly use Zoom.

How do I do Zoom??

Great question!

To be part of this conversation, you can connect in any of the following ways:

1. By tablet or smartphone

a. Download the Zoom app ahead of time from your app store
b. Once you have downloaded the Zoom app, follow the “Join by computer” instructions below.

2. By computer (if your computer has a webcam and microphone)

a. Close any program on your computer that uses your webcam
b. Have headphones available if possible to minimize feedback
c. Click the link corresponding to your Zoom meeting, this should automatically and quickly download to your computer
d. Once Zoom has launched, a screen should pop up asking for your name. This will identify you during the meeting.
e. You should now be part of the meeting. Click the buttons that say “Join Video by Computer” and “Join Audio by Computer”.

3. By  phone: dial in using your phone to the number provided by the meeting host

When prompted, dial meeting number ___ ___ ___, password ___ ___.  (Meeting number and password provided by host). Your phone will be automatically muted once the meeting starts. If you want to speak, press *6 to unmute your phone.

Need help? Pastor Travis tried to cover installation and setup in the videos below.  He’s also willing to do a Zoom test call with you, just let him know before Friday.
