In the Lutheran tradition, Confirmation is a time when young people affirm the promises made in their baptism. It’s a step of faith, a chance to grow in understanding of God’s love, and an opportunity to claim the Christian story as their own.

Through study, conversation, service, and worship, students learn how their faith connects to everyday life. They are supported by pastors, mentors, and the whole congregation as they prepare to publicly affirm their faith.

Classes meet on Sunday mornings during the school year. In addition, students are encouraged to participate in a service project and finish the program by affirming their faith together on Confirmation Sunday in May (for eighth grade students).
