Join us for a weekly book study beginning Sunday, September 21, following worship. Together, we’ll explore Rachel Held Evans’ powerful memoir, Faith Unraveled: How a Girl Who Knew All the Answers Learned to Ask Questions.

Eighty years after the Scopes Monkey Trial drew national attention to her hometown of Dayton, Tennessee, Rachel Held Evans began facing a trial of her own: questions and doubts about her faith. In this book, Evans shares her journey from certainty, through doubt, toward a faith rooted in honesty and openness. She challenges us to let go of false fundamentals and embrace a God big enough to handle our hardest questions.

  • Books: $15 for a new copy (order through the church office) or purchase your own copy online. Used books are often available at a lower cost.
