Advent is a season of waiting, watching, and wondering. It’s also a time to pause and take in the steadying reminders we often forget when life gets busy. For me, these reminders feel like an anchor, holding me steady when everything else seems to move too fast.

Some of the most powerful reminders in this season are the simplest: You are loved. You are enough. You are not alone. These words might feel small, but they carry a weight that can change everything. They shape how we see ourselves and the world around us.

Mary’s story is a beautiful example of this. She lived in a time of uncertainty, surrounded by endings both big and small. And yet, she chose to trust. She believed God was at work in her life, creating something new and holy. That trust became her steady ground, even when the way forward was unclear.

This Advent, hold onto that kind of hope. Trust that God’s promises are true. Face whatever lies ahead with courage, knowing you’re not alone. Let these words be a blessing to carry with you this week:

“You are held by God’s love, and that love will never let you go.”

Speak them to yourself when the day feels heavy. Write them down where you can see them. Let them settle into your heart, not just as a reminder but as a truth you can live by.

God’s love surrounds you. It’s steady, unshakable, and it will see you through.

Amen.
